Trust & Safety
If a site hosted on vsites.app or a custom domain we serve is being used for something illegal or abusive, tell us and we will act.
The address is monitored. You do not need an account to report something, and you can report anonymously -- though a reply address helps if we need detail.
Please do not attach illegal material to your report. A URL is enough for us to act on, and sending such material onward can itself be an offence.
We remove this immediately on becoming aware of it, preserve what the law requires us to preserve, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as US law requires. There is no appeal and no warning. If you are reporting CSAM, mark the subject line URGENT.
If material on a site we host infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@voltjs.com including: your contact details; identification of the work; the URL of the infringing material; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorised to act for the owner; and your signature (electronic is fine).
We forward valid notices to the site owner, who may submit a counter-notice.
We aim to acknowledge reports within one business day. Depending on what we find, a site may be left alone, the owner contacted, specific content removed, or the site suspended immediately. Illegal content, phishing, malware and CSAM are suspended without notice; ambiguous cases usually start with a message to the owner.
We are a hosting provider, not the author of what our customers publish. We do not pre-screen sites, and we are not the right place to complain that a site is wrong, rude, or competing with you. We act on illegality and abuse, not on disagreement.
Found a vulnerability in the platform itself rather than in a customer's content? Send it to legal@voltjs.com with "SECURITY" in the subject. Please give us reasonable time to fix it before publishing, and do not access data that is not yours while testing.
